SO, you'd like to learn more about using the the indexes? Hopefully this page will clear things up in a relatively simple manner!
To get started, click on the Index of Photos button (located on the far left of the blue navigation bar, indicated by #1 in the picture below).
You will now be at the page entitled “Browse through All Photos Grouped by Show”. Each show will have its own box with information (an example is indicated by #1 in the picture below). For each show, you will be able to see the band’s name, the Date, Venue, City, State, and a brief description. If you would like to view the photos for a show, click on the description (in italics) or the text that says “view the complete set of photos here”. Since there are only 15 shows displayed, you can click the “more shows” button (indicated by #2 in the picture below) to see another page of options. The shows are arranged in reverse chronological order (most recent to oldest). There are two other indexes available to help streamline your search. The index of artists (indicated by #3 in the picture below) will display an alphabetical list of every artist in the database. The index of bands (indicated by #4 in the picture below) will display an alphabetical list of every band in the database.
If you decide to check out the index of bands, you will find a list of all band names in alphabetical order. You can also view details for each by clicking the “+” before the name (an example is indicated by #1 in the picture below). This will show the venue(s) and date(s) that the band was photographed in and will allow you to focus your search even more.
